SUPPORT COORDINATOR/SUPPORT WORKER REQUIRED
SALARY SCALE £26,000-£32,000 PER ANNUM,
FIXED TERM 2.5 YEAR CONTRACT
We require a Support Co-Ordinator/Worker (35 hours per week full-time) to join our team. We are also open to flexible working hours. This post holder will promote and enhance employment opportunities within community settings for young people typically aged 15 to 26 years with barriers to employment including Autistic Spectrum Conditions and Additional Support Needs. The post includes supporting the Service Manager and supervising other staff. Developing links and engaging with the SIC, other Partners and Employers.
Experience of supporting people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions Additional Support needs and physical or sensory disabilities or other barriers to employment are required. Having effective communication, organisational, computer skills and a full, clean driving licence are essential. Salary is dependent on experience and relevant qualifications.
Although this is a fixed term post however there will be an opportunity for the contract to be extended should funding be confirmed. The post is based in Lerwick and the successful candidate will be expected to join the PVG scheme.
