We are delighted to announce our project received further funding from the following grants:
The People’s Postcode Trust is a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery and have awarded us £20,000.
The Robertson Trust match-funds organisations with a mission to improve the quality of life and realise the potential of Scotland’s people and communities, and have awarded us £42,000.
The Scottish Children's Lottery (Chance to Succeed) aims to reduce the damaging effects of financial hardship, poverty, disability and illness on the next generation. Working with charities and community groups, it supports projects with a focus on employability to help nurture a productive, positive future for young people in Scotland. We have been awarded £20,000.
Our Transition Support Service supports young people aged 14-26 to reach their employability-related goals. This could be long-term volunteering, full- or part-time employment. We help build confidence, as well as employability skills to ensure young people feel ready not only to gain employment but sustain this long-term.
This funding will help us continue the valuable work we do, as well as develop the service to include more participant-lead activities and grow to meet the needs of our local community.
