- In 2008 we travelled up to Fetlar to erect a small greenhouse
- With the help of a local joiner, we created flowerboxes for the clients of the Eric Gray Resource Centre, a day care centre for adults with learning disabilities
- In the summer of 2009, with the help of pupils from the ASN department of the local high school, we laid Shetlands first wheelchair accessible path to the Sands of Sound beach in Lerwick
- Laying sections of the wheelchair friendly matting at the Sands of Sound
- Ensuring the path is even and secure
- The completed wheelchair path at the Sands of Sound beach in 2009. Moving On won a Shetland Environmental Award for this project
- In the summer of 2010, Moving On travelled to Unst to erect polytunnel frames, with the help of Unst Regeneration Gowers Enterprise. We had never done this before and it was hard work but enjoyable nonetheless
- Securing the large metal hoops that form the frame of the polytunnel together
- Each polytunnel took a full day, and many hands to erect and secure
- Moving On and URGE using the soil to backfill the trenches and secure the hoops in place
- The first completed polytunnel frame. We erected 3 in the time we were in Unst
- Drilling and connecting the metal frames of the remaining polytunnels
- One of the days we were in Unst, the weather turned very poor. We spent our time indoors, putting together the wooden doors for the polytunnels
